So gibt es unter anderen ein Wiedersehen mit Kady, Hannah und Nik, die alles versuchen um dieses Geschichte zu einem guten Abschluß zu bringen, egal welche Hürden sich ihnen in den Weg stellen.Neu lernt man unter anderen Asha und Rhys kennen, die sich an einem Ort wiedertreffen, den keiner der Beiden für möglich gehalten hätte.Und natürlich wird auch „Obsidio“ nicht auf die klassische Art und Weise erzählt, sondern ist wie der Reihentitel schon sagt, wieder eine Sammlung verschiedenster Dokumente, wie Chatprotokolle, Niederschriften von Überwachungskameras und Funksprüchen und vielem mehr. Und wieder hat es das Autorenduo geschafft ihre Charaktere ins rechte Licht zu rücken und ihre Taten und Aussagen für sie sprechen zu lassen und sie trotz der auf den ersten Blick unpersönlichen Präsentation lebendig erscheinen zu lassen. Mit eigenem Kopf und dem Willen zu überleben.Auch der Abschlußband war für mich wieder ein Lesegenuss, der mich von Anfang bis Ende überzeugen konnte. Die gesamte Trilogie kann ich nur empfehlen. Spannung, Action und Gefühle sind in genau dem richtigen Maß vorhanden und alles zusammen hat mich mitfiebernd an die Seiten gefesselt. Von mir gibt es die volle Punktzahl.
"Obsidio" was, in my opinion, the weakest installment in the series.I really liked that "Obsidio" made an effort to humanize the antagonists and to show that the situation wasn't just black and white. This really rounded out the narrative and I appreciated how it made the story more complex and the stakes more real.Unfortunately, this was counteracted by the fact that "Obisdio" insists on lowering the stakes in every other way.The twists were rather obvious in this part of "The Illuminae Files" so were very few surprises, especially in the relationship department.Overall, "Obsidio" compares unfavorably to the first two installments in the series (especially "Gemina"), mostly because the stakes are basically non-existant by this point.
Die drei Bücher in dieser Reihe gehören zu meinen Favoriten im SF-Genre. Die Erzählung in Form von Emails, Verhör-Protokolle, handgeschriebene Zettel, Chat-Protokolle usw. funktioniert perfekt und ist teilweise sehr bewegend in seiner Simplizität und seiner Distanz.
Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, alle drei Teile dieser Serie zu lesen, vorzugsweise im englischen Original. Die Bücher sind großartig, kreativ, und einzigartig.
All the illuminae files books were brilliant and this was a worth end. Don't want to spoiler anything so I just say, if you read the other books, it's worth reading this one,too.
